FNS Awards $750,000 to Wyoming to Improve Fraud Prevention, Detection in SNAP

FNS today awarded Wyoming a SNAP Fraud Framework Implementation Grant. This investment will help the state improve its recipient fraud prevention, detection, and investigation efforts by implementing principles from the SNAP Fraud Framework, a toolkit designed to help states prevent and detect fraud and sharpen their investigative techniques.

USDA Announces Approval of D-SNAP for Areas in Boulder, Colorado

USDA announced today that low-income Colorado residents in parts of Boulder County affected by the wildfires that started on December 30 could be eligible for a helping hand from the USDA’s Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).

USDA Awards Over $5.5 Million in Grants to Strengthen SNAP Integrity

USDA today announced over $5.5 million in grants to state partners as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the program integrity of SNAP. USDA is providing $5 million in SNAP Fraud Framework Implementation Grants to combat recipient fraud as well as more than half a million in Income Verification Grants to help states ensure SNAP households receive the accurate amount of SNAP benefits.
